NATIONAL DISH OF CHAD - Peanut and Squash Stew
As I've mentioned before, I do enjoy cooking for friends and family. One of my friends is named Chad, and after choosing the country of Chad, it would be remiss of me not to cook him his national dish.
Peanut and Squash Stew was a very simple recipe, with hardly any ingredients, however here still is the recipe: http://www.congocookbook.com/vegetable_and_side_dish_recipes/squash_with_peanuts.html
Enjoy, or as they say in Chad, Bon appétit! (That's right, French is one of the national languages of Chad)

This dish is deceptively simple: Chop, Fry, Serve is all there is to it. It looks colourful and smells good due to the fried peanuts, but still looks bland. Experimenting with seasonings (hello salt and garlic!) is recommended. Surprisingly, it was flavourful and tasted nice, I enjoyed the crunch of peanuts mixed with the softness of butternut pumpkin.
So there you go Chad, you can never say I don't do nice things for you. And that goes for the country too!
